Everyone loves the sunny sunflower!
Sunflowers will easily brighten up a room and your mood.
Sunflowers need a lot of sun. The flowers grow best with about 6 to 8 hours of sun a day, but more is better. While sunflowers are growing, their heads turn back and forth to track the sun during the day.
The head of the sunflower is a combination of a thousand tiny flowers. Each petal on the circumference of a sunflower is a flower itself.
Sunflowers can live for up to five days without water. Also, it depends on many things: the species of flower, how fresh it was when it was cut and the air temperature. The hotter the day it is, the quicker it will wilt.
