Tulips are a welcome sight in spring.
Cut flower tulips typically last between 5 to 12 days, but they're thirsty blooms, so it's important to top the vase up with water regularly by giving them plenty to drink!
Tulips don’t like drinking dirty water, so refresh water every second day and re-trim your stems 1cm each time.
Interesting fact that tulips will continue to grow after they are cut, as much as 5 cm. For this reason, a vase that covers around half of the height of the stems is a good choice as it allows them to stretch out.
You can add flower food to the water to extend their life.
Enjoy your bright spring tulips!
